IHTTI is one of the most established hotel management schools in Switzerland with a long history of producing successful managers. For 20 years we have been preparing students for supervisory and management careers in the international hospitality and tourism industries and have alumni working in key positions all over the world.
Located in the centre of the French-speaking historic university city of Neuchâtel, between Lake Neuchâtel and the Jura mountains, IHTTI is close to the major transportation links, retail outlets, museums and cultural venues, leisure and nightlife facilities, as well as to many winter and summer sporting attractions.

Location of IHTTI
IHTTI is located in the city centre of Neuchâtel in “Eurotel”, a former purpose-built hotel. “Eurotel” has been recently renovated and provides excellent teaching, leisure and accommodation facilities for around 200 students per intake. The train station, lake, major shops and the university library can all easily be reached within 5 minutes walking-distance.

IHTTI’s academic programmes focus on hospitality business administration and management. However, the curriculum covers all relevant aspects of hotel management and includes practical training in operational areas.

A modern and well equipped academic library
All relevant books, periodicals and journals on hospitality and related topics can be found in the school library. IHTTI students have access to the Swiss university libraries. Classrooms are fully equipped. Students receive private email addresses and unlimited Internet access.
The internship is an integral part of the academic programme. Year 1 and 2 of the Diploma and Degree programmes include two 5 month paid internship in Switzerland or abroad.
