UWS was top in both Scotland and in the UK for student satisfaction in a range of subjects in the National Student Survey 2015. 100% overall student satisfaction was recorded by students on the following UWS courses: Education, Childhood Studies, Civil Engineering, Computer-aided Design, Contemporary Screen Acting and Integrated Public Service (now renamed to Integrated Health and Social Care). Our Social Policy course was also ranked as being top in the UK. Other courses which were rated in the top 5 in the UK for student satisfaction were: Aircraft Engineering (top in Scotland and 5th in UK); Commercial Music, Commercial Sound Production, Music Technology (all 4th in UK); Filmmaking and Screen-writing (3rd in UK).
